So, here I go, First attempt at putting something on our blog.  So we are all clear, this is all just for fun and not to be taken too seriously.

If you have access to this site then you should know both of us so I don’t plan on any big intro.

In case we have not bored you to death yet, Jenny and I are planning on going sailing round Europe for a couple of years (with the odd spell back in the UK).  We have never tried anything like this before so we thought it may be fun for friends and family to keep track of where we are and what we are up to.  We also plan using an app/website that will show you where we are.  www.marinetraffic.com. When I am clever I may even get the link to work. No point in looking yet as the AIS has not been installed.

So thats about it for this test run, but before I go, I had better upload a picture of the captain!!!
